Recently I went to a Holistic Horse and Hound Expo:  This is the information I shared . . .

Helichrysum  (Helichrysum angustifolium arenarium); Herpes, anti inflammatory, nervine, cicatrisant, SCARS, headaches, SKIN WOUNDS, *ANTI BACTERIAL FOR HEALING OPEN WOUNDS . . . AMAZING!, cholesterol balancer, high immune stimulant, MS, candida, liver cleanser, post surgical situations . . . etc., Concussions and all levels of cerebral disharmony, ANTI IMFLAMMATORY, INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL HEMORRHAGING, SHOCK.  Aids all types of arthritis.

Manuka (Leptospermum scoparium); Mental clarity, analgesic, SKIN HEALING, anti depressant, loosens tight muscles, deep muscle relaxation, ANTI FUNGAL, ANTI BACTERIAL, reduces stress and tension.  Aids in scrotum pain and scrotum disharmony.   Empathizing nurturer.   Very soft and gentle in nature!

Cumin, Black (Nigella sativa); Anti viral, carminative, stimulant, immune system booster and harmonizer, hepatitis A, B & C, HIV, herpes l & ll, fatigue, cardiac, endocrine system.  Anti tumoric.  OVER 20% PROTEIN VALUE PLUS MANY OTHER VITAMINS AND MINERALS.  This one is great in the food due to nutritional value and immune system booster; also application to the paws and helps provide a shinny coat for our beloved animals.

Lavandin (Lavandula hybrida); Anti depressant, anti inflammatory, anti infectious, cicatrisant, anti fungal, anti septic, analgesic, mucolytic and excellent for the Central nervous system.  Lavandin assists sprains and strains, rheumatism, shock, food poisoning and addresses various skin and hair concerns such as skin ulcers, warts, bruises, abscesses, blisters, boils, burns, dull or dry skin concerns, eczema, insect bites, lice, scabies, hair loss, baldness, and promotes scar and wound healing.   Lavandin has a beautiful synergy that is rejuvenation toward the fatigued and comforting on behalf of the stressed individual.

Marjoram, cineole type (Thymus mastichina); Anti infection, rheumatism, sinus, flu, colds, anti spasmodic, ANTI BACTERIAL, ANTI SPEPTIC, TICKS, WOUNDS, ANTI VIRAL.  Addresses lymes disease.  Wonderful for deep sore muscles.  INSECTS DO NOT LIKE!!!  Helps keep away the insects; apply a few drops on a handkerchief along with a couple of drops of Cornmint and then put handkerchief around dogs neck.

Cornmint (Mentha arvensis L.); Anti inflammatory.  Aids digestion, gas and hearburn.  Assists anxiety, rheumatic pain, arthritis and muscle aches and pain.  A strong anti coagulant.  Insects in general do not like any of the mint family, so very assistive in keeping away insects.

Medicinal aid for Headaches, migraines, sinusitis, muscle tension, mental clarity, hang-over, respiratory system, allergies, and stimulates circulation.  Application (apply drops to) crown chakra, back of neck, area of concern, spinal column, (a touch to the bottom of the nose or just sniff the bottle for clearing sinuses), forehead and temples with care taken to avoid eyes and mucus membranes. 

Also, place a drop under the head rest of the massage table during massage to help keep the sinus clear while face down on the massage table.

Lymphatic blend

A healthy lymph system drains interstitial fluid, transports dietary fats and protects against invasion of many different bacteria and viruses.  Use for congested lymph system, sore throat, sinus drainage, cellulite and viruses.  External application to the lymphatic system (3 drops to both sides of the neck and 4-5 drops to the solar plexus area).

We will be addressing 25 medicinal grade essential oils and eight carrier oils, (their origins, plant part used in distillation and/press method, application techniques in beneficial relationship to therapeutic massage and the spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, and olfaction properties/attributes of these essential and carrier oils through application in massage). Learn the overview history of Aromatherapy, contraindications, and visual - plant specimens. The second day will be hands-on essential and carrier oil Basic Aromatherapy Massage session approach using relaxing, balancing and/or stimulating effects of essential oils on the body, to include demonstration of session approach and assessment of hands-on bodywork. This workshop does include the Wisdom of the Earth Reference Guide (89 pages), plus additional reference material for carrier oils and Basic Aromatherapy Massage session layouts with protocol. This course will add competency in the modality of Basic Aromatherapy Massage, assisting you to be more competitive in the spa or local work environment.
